Stewart Wright

Coach Stewart Wright has spent several years coaching youth soccer in and out of the area. Most recently, Wright joined the staff at Saint Michael's College as a women's soccer assistant coach in 2016.

Prior to SMC, Wright arrived in Vermont via time in Utah. Immediately after moving to Vermont, Wright helped to lead the junior varsity girls' soccer team at South Burlington High School in the fall of 2016, as well as joining our staff where he helped lead the 99/00 boys.

While in Utah, Wright worked for several clubs and high schools, most notably as a girl’s coach at Payson High School from 2010 until 2015, and varsity and JV boys' head coach at Spanish Fork High School between 2007 and spring 2014. Wright also held previous posts with, Shooters Soccer Club and Nebo United Soccer during that time frame.

Wright holds his United States Soccer Federation (USSF) National "D" License and his National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Diploma: Technical Development of the Competitive Player. A graduate of Brigham Young University with a degree in mathematics education, Wright is pursuing a master's degree in soccer coaching from Ohio University.
