Michele Barnes

U13 Girls - Head Coach

Coach Michele has helped in ushering in the first Queen City FC group into the Greater Plattsburgh area.  She has had great success in coaching youth sports in the Northern New York area from basketball, to softball and soccer.  She began coaching youth sports at the young age of 18 and has had continued success throughout the years.

Since joining the staff at QCFC, she has made an immediate impact with the QCFC ADK U13 Girls squad.  During the current 2018-19 season, the team has had impressive results winning: Seacoast United Capitol Cup (NH), Saratoga Wilton Jingle Bell Cup (NY), Queen City Winter Classic (VT), and Mountain Mayhem Tournament (NY).

Previously she has coached several seasons with Plattsburgh FC where she has won numerous club tournament championships.

As a player, Michele grew up in Northern New York playing at the Varsity level for Gouverneur and Saranac High School's.  After high school, she continued her career collegiately playing with NCAA D3 Rensseleaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) out of the Liberty League.

Michele holds licensure through the United States Soccer Federation with the USSF "E" License.
